Rolling resistance is the unseen power thief for R/C vehicles both electric of gas powered. Think about it, with bearings R/C vehicle movement would not be as advanced. Simple bushings can’t compare to the efficiency of ball bearings. Some ball bearings incorporate a rubber seal, others may use a metal shield design. Ball bearings also come with different tolerances and radial plays and also may come in different materials like ceramic hybrid bearings.
