Chassis

An R/C chassis is the vehicles main building block. The chassis is the main platform for the vehicles power plant and other components such as receivers, fuel tanks and servo’s. Chassis material can be of molded plastic, aluminum or even carbon fiber. Strength and rigidity are also main concerns with chassis design. Other vehicle components such as shocks, body posts, suspension and steering parts are fastened to the main chassis.
